We pray everyone has stayed healthy and has enjoyed family time together. We are ready to start classes again tomorrow January 4th, 2021!

As we come back to class please take extra caution by using hand sanitizer, washing hands, wearing masks and staying socially distant when necessary. Everyone has been doing a great job at this and we want to continue to be able to be in the studio. What you do matters and you have been a part of why are are able to remain open. Please remember to stay home if you are not feeling good.

*As far as COSTUMES go, we have decided to not order them this year to be on the safe side. HOWEVER we will be ordering apparel for each class and those will be your “costumes” for the stage. A list will come out with what class will need to order by the end of January and payments will then be due by the end of February. If you have already paid for costumes what is not used will go toward your tuition or showcase tickets.

*I (Miss Erin) have spoke with the Pastor of City Church where we usually hold our recitals and he is more than ok with us holding a show this year with the necessary guidelines for the building. We will have a “Divine Dance Showcase” where each recreational class will be in ONE show and competition classes will perform in TWO shows. This will make it so less people will be in the building. We won’t call it a recital as we won’t be all dressed up, but we will have as much fun and generate excitement throughout the shows and leading up to them!! We will also work on a a pass for online access to each show so those who feel more comfortable will be able to watch from their homes. There will be a cost to both the showcase and online access that we will have within the next 2 month’s.

*The showcase date is tentatively set for May 14th at 6:30PM and May 15th at 1PM. We may add another show at 11AM on May 15th to make sure each class is able to perform. This will be decided soon.

*There will be NO Dance Presidents week February 15th-18th – We DO HAVE DANCE UP UNTIL THAT WEEK. We are trying to be mindful of taking breaks this season as we want to do our part to keep everyone healthy!!

As I write this I intentionally want to express my love and thanks to you all. 2020 has been a year of many lessons learned and my gratitude toward Divine Dance Studio and its families is one I never want to take for granted. Let’s take 2021 on with Hope, Love toward others and giving thanks for what we DO have! Love you all!
